The collaboration between Summit University Advancement Bureau (SUAB), and Lagos Commodities & Futures Exchange (LCFE) to advance Summit University birthed an invitation to an innovative competition sponsored by First Security Deposit House, where Summit University, Offa demonstrated their dedication to academic excellence and emerged victorious, capturing the attention of all.

In preparation for the seminar, students were tasked with demonstrating their analytical and writing skills through essays writing on the compelling question: “Can AI Replace Human Traders in Commodities Exchange?” as the theme. The essay prompt was carefully crafted to address the expanding impact of artificial intelligence on the worldwide financial market, encompassing various aspects of trade practices.

The highlight of the seminar was marked by the remarkable achievement of Summit University, as their students demonstrated excellence in the tertiary level category. Badmus Fathatulkhayr, a brilliant 200-level Computer Science student, emerged as the winner, leaving a lasting impression on the judging panel with a meticulously written exploration of AI's role in commodities exchange. Fathatulkhayr's profound understanding of the subject matter and eloquent delivery set her apart from her peers, reaffirming Summit University's reputation as a fertile ground for nurturing exceptional talents.

This winning streak continued as Samuel Otuokon, another student from Summit University, clinched the 2nd runner-up position, further highlighting the institution's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and its students' remarkable ability to address intricate and pertinent issues in their respective fields.
