If he were to be the candidate of his party for the senate president,he wouldn't have given the Buhari administration any problem whatsoever. But because he wasn't. He planned a civilian coup sort of. He was in their black books and they needed to remove him at all cost and he also dealt with them by denying them of critical bills and what have you

However,this appellation of "rubber stamp senate" isn't fair. Sentiments apart. You see even in the US. As the Dems are in control of the Senate. No matter what Biden brings to them,they will sign it. That is why the ruling party always want to control the House and Senate so the Executive won't have any problem passing laws. But talking about the best senate president. I think the best is Anyim Pius Anyim. Dude stabilized the Senate president seat after, Late Evans Ewerem,Late Chuba Okadigbo, Adolphus Warbara were removed back to back.

I'll give it to him. He stabilized the seat till they left government in 2007

Exactly. Trump was even impeached by the House twice. Yet the Majority of the Senate threw it out.

If the house of representatives impeaches Biden today,The Senate too will throw it out. Just like the GOP impeached Clinton and the Senate too threw it out.
