Tola Odeyemi was appointed by the President as the Postmaster General / CEO, to replace Sunday Adepoju.

Odeyemi is a Public Policy Professional with a background in Electrical and Systems Engineering.

She has demonstrated competence in the deployment of technology to accomplish policy/regulatory requirements and formulation of technology policy.

With over 15 years in the technology policy space, she has a proven track record of success in supervising technical teams and ensuring the execution of core objectives within the set organisation.

Odeyemi has extensive policy implementation advisory expertise in both government and private sector-led strategic implementation of frameworks for Public Sector, Technology projects, and Infrastructure financing.

Speaking further, Dania said that the vast professional experiences the new NIPOST head has displayed are quite in notable public service, having served as the Executive Secretary/Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor H.E. Akinwunmi Ambode, where her contributions to policy-making and strategic implementation have been profoundly impactful.

Ms. Odeyemi has an extensive 15-year career, reflecting expertise in Technology Policy, Financial Technology Regulation, Environmental Regulation, Investment and Trade Promotion, Infrastructure Finance, and Public Sector Policy Reform.

These years’ garnered experience, according to Dania, uniquely positions Ms. Odeyemi as a trailblazer capable of steering NIPOST towards technological advancement and operational excellence in line with the goals set out by the Minister for Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy; Dr. Bosun Tijani.

NIPOST has lost its relevance. It's just an avenue to loot. Who still has a P.O.Box and P.M.B or even engage in courier service with them? Can't remember the last time I saw a stamp sef.
