*TOPIC:* DOMINION IN DISCOVERY.

*SCRIPTURE:* And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. MATTHEW 16:17-18.

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:* The level of dominion you have exercised so far is a function of your discoveries.

Paul Yongi Cho of Blessed Memory once recounted his experience while trying to cast out a demon. He said did everything he could, but the devil remained defiant. But all of a sudden, he got a flash of light in his spirit and he told the demon, “You have to go out now because two thousand years ago, my elder brother, Jesus Christ defeated you on my behalf and I stand in His shoes to ask you to get out!”
The devil said, “Hold on, hold on, hold on! I will go but please don’t say this to anyone else’’.
Amazing!

Beloved, it is knowing who you are and whose you are that gives you dominion in life. Search the scriptures and let God reveal you to you.
When Jesus asked His disciple, “Who do men say I am?” Peter said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God” (Matthew 16:15-16).
By that discovery, Jesus said to Peter, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Mathew 16:17-18). That is, “Step into dominion by what you just discovered.”

Beloved, there is something you can see from the Scripture that will make you shift in power, authority, audacity, and boldness. The level of dominion you have exercised so far is a function of your discoveries. Light is reflective. When you carry light, you don’t beg darkness, darkness excuses itself as light arrives.
So, if you are lacking in power or dominion, step up in scriptural and spiritual discoveries.

*ASSIGNMENTS:*
1. Locate scriptures that will position you as an authority in the realms you desire, and meditate on them.
2. Surrender your will completely to God so His Will can prevail in your life, and His dominion can be established in you.

*PRAYER:* Lord, I surrender my will to You. Show me a revelation that will shift me to the realm of dominion and power with you, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

🔑📖```KEY VERSE:``` _*"So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another” (ROMANS 12:5).*_

*We attach much importance to love, and read lots of meaning to it, most of which are unnecessary. The real object of our love should be towards God first and then to the people around us. It is assumed that we already love ourselves. God, therefore, wants us to direct the remaining love in our hearts to our brethren and other people around us.*

*Apostle Paul’s illustration buttresses the correlation and inter-dependence of our physical body parts on each other. From the head and all the accessories that make up the head region to the trunk and its appendages, the apostle argued that none of our body parts can exist in isolation. They interact to nourish, receive and release information; thereby, making the whole body happy, healthy and functional.*

*Caring for one another is a central theme in the writings of Paul. It came all the way from the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ to His disciples before Paul’s emergence. This became a standard emphasis of the disciples and those who came later into the fold. They were told to love their enemies and do good to those who hate them and despitefully use and persecute them (Matthew 5:43-48). Jesus prayed and ministered to Jews, Gentiles, Roman soldiers, publicans and foreigners. He welcomed and accepted all that came to Him.*

*One common denominator that is very visible in Christianity is love. It is the love we have for all of God’s creation that attracts people into the Kingdom. People gravitate towards the followers of Christ in every nation and clime because they see the practical evidence of the love of Christ in them. We are commanded to love the sinners, not their sins. This approach is the most effective instrument in evangelism – person-to-person evangelism through friendship, love and care. We are also to feed the hungry and assist those in need.*
