ANA ELECTION: WOLE ADEDOYIN’S ACHIEVEMENTS AS PRO (SOUTH) FROM 2017-2019 UNDER THE PRESIDENCY OF MALLAM DENJA ABDULAHI

Throughout my term as ANA PRO South from 2017-2019, under the leadership of Mallam Denja Abdullahi, I made significant strides in advancing and enriching the initiatives of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA).

Below are my achievements:

1. Establishment of ANA Publicity Desk Blog: I created and designed the ANA Publicity Desk blog, serving as a comprehensive platform for documenting, archiving, and publicizing ANA news and activities. The blog, accessible at https://anapublicityblog..com/, became a vital source of information for our members and the public.

2. Creation of Multimedia Blogs: I developed multimedia blogs for various ANA special projects and annual events, including the ANA-FUNAI International Conference and Creative Workshop https://ana-funai..com/, ANA/Yusuf Ali Literary Awareness Campaign 2015-2018 Official Blog, https://yusufaliliteraryawarenesscampaign..com/2018/04/, Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) - Authors' Groove, https://authorsgroove..com, ANA's A-Book-A-Child Nationwide Project, https://anaabookachildblog..com, Nigerian Writers Series http://ananigerianwriterseries..com/, Mamman Vatsa writers Village https://mammanvatsawritersvillage..com/
These platforms showcased our initiatives and brought attention to our literary endeavors.

3. Online Platforms and Social Media Presence: I initiated ANA's presence on popular social platforms like Nairaland and Naija Stories, ensuring active dissemination of ANA readings, news, and activities. Additionally, I revived and managed twenty (20) Facebook groups of ANA State Chapters, fostering a sense of community among our members.

4. Press Releases and Media Engagement: I crafted compelling press releases and press statements during national festive periods such as Eid-Kabir, Eid-Moulud, Christmas, Easter, Independence Day, and New Year. These communications enhanced ANA's visibility in the media landscape.

5. Pictorial Documentation of Events: I undertook the periodical pictorial documentation of ANA events, including the Yusuf Ali Reading Campaign, AE-FUNAI International Conference, Authors Groove, and Conventions. These visuals captured the essence of our activities and served as valuable records of our achievements.

6. WhatsApp Group and Enhanced Communication: I established two ANA WhatsApp groups (ANA WATCHDOG and ANA SITUATION ROOM), facilitating efficient communication between the ANA National Executive Committee, state Chairmen, and Secretaries. This platform proved instrumental in sharing news, activities, and reports.

7. Informative Content Creation: I published informative content, including the contacts of ANA Chapters' Chairmen and a list of ANA reading locations across the country. This content aimed to attract new members to ANA and provide valuable information to the public.

8. Database Development: I played a role in designing, formulating, and programming the ANA Database, ensuring efficient management of our organizational data.

9. Graphic Design and Branding: I contributed to the rebranding efforts of ANA by conceiving new concepts and enhancing the graphical layout and artistic elements of ANA News, releases, and activity reports. I also designed customized posters for ANA State Chapters' readings and annual general meetings, enhancing the visual representation of our events.

Under the visionary leadership of Mallam Denja Abdullahi, these efforts significantly contributed to the growth and prominence of ANA from 2017-2019.
