I'm getting tired of Ghana president or people complaining about the west of whites taking their cocoa and creating chocolates.

Has Ghana trued creating luxury chocolates same quality as thise done by the Swiss and promoted it?
Create the chocolates, promote it around West africa gradually more people will buy. Instead of throwing accusations someone is coming for the raw products.

Let them keep their cocoa instead of complaining unnecessarily.

If we keep complaining about whites taking our resources in its crude form, have we tried to promote the finished product. Have we shown we have capacity to produce finished products with high quality? We can learn a thing or 2 from China and how they became a major producer. Despite barely having natural resources.

Ghanaians are very lazy and envious people like South Africans and Yorubas. The only thing they know is hate and blame. I wish Israel could do the needful on these people to make Africa more productive and peaceful. If Igbos had that cocoa, we would be better than Switzerland now. Rubbish charcoal people are busy blaming whites and swimming in hunger. Who curse Africa sef

No country in Africa have natural resources like China. China is one of the country with the largest deposit of natural resources. Countries that have natural resources than china can't be more than 6-7.

China have oil and produce more oil than Nigeria. China produce more than 4.5m bpd, while Nigeria produce less than 1.7m bpd.

The @bolded is false. China is one of the most naturally endowed nations in the world! China holds the largest deposits of a lot of minerals and control lots of internationally traded goods. They do a lot of importation of natural resources because they have a huge population and demand just like USA. This is a smart way to conserve theirs and maintain edge just like US does with crude oil and gas. Many people don't know that USA is one of the highest producers of oil and gas and they have the highest deposits some of which have not even been touched.

They're producing locally now. Just that it was of the lowest quality in terms of taste, texture, and finishing(aesthetics) the last time I tried one in 2023. Nevertheless it's a commendable effort by the Ghanaian people, and hopefully they'll keep improving the quality, then someday rival chocolate products from the west.

To get to the expertise of Swiss chocolates makers won't be easy but they can start somewhere and improve.....
But theres something about international trade that people sometimes overlook..... Treaties and agreements.
Why is Ghanaian president grumbling when he can simply stop his country's cocoa going to swiss? Probably ghana have trade treaties that ensures a certain number of export ....or maybe while looking for foreign investors the ones that showed up are only interested in extracting and taking away raw materials... Etc

Africa has 30% of the world's natural resources and 65% of the world's uncultivated arable land. China has a lot but no continent comes close to Africa when we talk about natural resources.
Also note, Nigeria may produce less oil than china but we have a far bigger oil reserve. This means that we have more oil in the ground than China.
