Shady Recruitment: UNIOSUN Management Reverses Itself by Jimsonjaat96(m): 7:37am On Oct 23, 2023
......There's need for thorough investigation, Group tells Gov Adeleke

After a series of press releases by the Osun Eagle Eye on Good Governance Group, calling on the Osun State Government to rescue UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital from the maladministration of the CMD, Prof. Peter Olaitan, over the recent unfair and injustice recruitments exercise perpetrated, the group noticed that the CMD has ordered a technical stoppage of the resumption of those he rushily recruited.

It will be recalled that Osun Eagle Eye On Good Governance has made it known the need to reshape and restructure UTH, by rescue her from sinking boat in the hand of the present management team of the institution, headed by Prof. Olaitan.

Note that the group had earlier alleged CMD over his shaded activities and his unwaivering support for the immediate past APC led administration in the State, to destabilize the only owned teaching hospital.

"It is not news any longer that he is one of the hundreds plotted in the government agency of Osun State Government, to bring down and backwarding the selfless, humanistic and people's oriented policies that will make livelihood better for her citizenry across board."

The group further call the attention of Osun State House Of Assembly members, Office of Osun Sate Auditor - General, Osun Internal Generating Revenue Services (OIRS) and other related agencies and commissions, to beam search light on the UTH misappropriation and mismanagement of facilities with immediate effect, before its total and final collapse.

"It is very important to respond to the concorted, unprofessional script and baseless rebuttal made by one Wale Ajibolu, who is far away not qualified to hold the given responsibility in the UTH but covered and protected as errand and political stooge of CMD, being appointed as Head, Public Relations Unit of the teaching hospital whose his acclaimed qualifications is questionable but acting as Public Relations Officer of the institution with a ridiculous certificate."

The group further challenge the unqualified and acclaimed Head, Public Relations Unit of the UTH to made his acclaimed Higher National Diploma Certificate known to public within 48 hours or push for necessary actions against him. This will serve as means to cub unprofessionalism working ethics of some unqualified figures in civil service and agencies in the State.

"To set the record straight, it is a story far from the truth that REMITTA (a tax collections company from Lagos) was recruited to block leakages and to cub fraudulent acts in the institution.

"REMITTA is a permutation made and influenced by Prof. Adewole (Former, Board Chairman), Former First Lady (Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola), incumbent CMD of the teaching hospital and some of the immediate past Governor's allies.

"Office of the Auditor-General and OIRS need to take a drastic and urgent steps to look into this financial misappropriation and brought the perpetrators to book. While appropriate agency should engage the trusted and trained personalities in the civil service environment to take charge, amid zero tolerance, to add more value to state IGR. While the acclaimed consumables and other facilities items purchased secured and executed by Prof. Olaitan led management team must be investigated, without wasting time, without fair or favor.

"We are also using this medium to charge Auditor-General office to look into the acclaimed payments of bogus debts owed by this current management team to contractors. We have evidence against CMD claims.

"Furthermore, proper monitoring and accessment must be made in works and maintenance section of the hospital as claimed in the rebuttal statement. We call on the appropriate agencies to beam search their lights on Maintanance section and do the needful inventory to get fact over the section's mischievous, fake and invisible success recorded as acclaimed.

"Claiming that casual workers are ineligible to be covered in the just concluded and trashed recruitment exercise, shows how heartless the UTH management team are, by outpouring that there is no approval to employs casual workers to full fledge Staff of UTH. Note that, all the said casual workers are Osun State indigenes who have better qualifications than some of the so-called UTH management team. It is generally believe that there is an undertone in CMD decision against the said workers by ignoring them in the last but later nullified employment exercise.

The group reiterates its commitment and unwaivering support for the Peoples' Governor of Osun State, stakeholders and general public as mouthpiece and beam search light for good Governance and betterment of Osun State under His Excellency, Sen Ademola Adeleke. While waiting for an urgent response from the appropriate quarters and government agencies to safeguard the only State owned teaching hospital in Osun State.
