The Caucasus Journal of Milton Studies (CJMS) has announced the publication of remarkable works by two exceptionally talented Nigerian poets, Zaynah Ibrahim Barje and Abuchi Onyema.
This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone in the journal’s commitment to showcasing diverse voices and perspectives from around the world.

Zaynah Ibrahim Barje, a passionate young Nigerian poet, shares her compelling vision and inspiration through her powerful verses. With a deep-rooted belief in the transformative power of words, Zaynah’s poetry resonates with readers and ignites change.

Abuchi Onyema, another gifted poet from Nigeria, captivates audiences with his profound verses that reflect the complexities of his homeland. Abuchi’s writing is imbued with a fervent passion for social justice, shedding light on the pressing issues faced by his native country and compelling readers to engage in meaningful conversations.

The CJMS has a history of publishing thought-provoking works that challenge societal norms and inspire change. Recently, the journal featured the poignant poem “DENIAL” by Michael Chukwudi, an author of Nigerian-Indonesian heritage. Wole Adedoyin, President of the Milton Society of Africa (MSA), played a pivotal role in bringing the CJMS to Nigeria and Africa. The MSA, an affiliate of the Milton Society of Georgia, is committed to promoting literary excellence and fostering intellectual dialogue in the African literary community.

Directed by Prof. Edward Raupp, the Center for Foreign Languages at Gori State Teaching University, Gori, Georgia, the Milton Society of Georgia oversees the CJMS. This esteemed journal, with its e-ISSN: 2720-8222, is an international, peer-reviewed platform dedicated to publishing high-quality, original research. The CJMS exclusively accepts manuscripts in English, including original research articles, review articles, and poetry inspired by the life and works of the renowned English writer John Milton.
