Amaechi is not a politician. He is hard headed and uncompromising,, that's hardly the attribute of a good politician.

A good politician must have the following attributes;;

1. Kiss asss whenever necessary to get your goal.
2. Sell your soul whenever necessary to get your goal.
3. Betray anybody and any party whenever to get your goal.
4. Spend state money on politics and frivolities whenever necessary.
5. Bribe your way all through whenever necessary.

Wike did all the above with Patience Jonathan and now doing it with Tinubu.

That's the difference,, Amaechi has limits to asss kissing, Wike has no limits..

That's the difference.

So a man like Wike would always succeed especially if he's extremely ambitious..

Amaechi simply made a foolish decision after his presidential primary loss. He and Osinbande took their losses like learners/toddlers. IF they were smart enough to support(or even play along), they would still be entering Aso Rock at will today. Instead, they believed online noise and fake prophecies.

Even in America Blinken smartly served under Obama, despite that he older than him far and started politics before him,as a VP, party ignored him and went for Hilary ,he still not angry but wait patiently, this same scenario with Tinubu, for several years he was presenting norther to contest, even though,he knew he is stronger than the candidates politically.

Today he is a president, while one of candidates he backed in the past is subordinate.

How Wike has been able to outdo Amaechi twice is surprising to me. Wike played a pivotal role in getting Amaechi out of Pdp in 2014/15. He has done the same again in 2022/23.
Can we say Amaechi is not politically smart. Wike seems to have won him in all their political battles.

Amaechi couldn't even win Rivers for Apc in 2015 and 2019.
