Ajaero is an Imo indigene from Owerri zone. Owerri people have sworn to sabotage Uzodinma in the coming election. That is why the state chapter of the NLC refused supporting Ajaero. Ajaero was only playing an ethnic script that backfired.

He wasn't beaten for fighting for Nigerian workers, he was beaten for using the NLC to further the ethnic interest of Owerri zone against Uzodinma and further the interest of LP against APC.
