*Massive Plot Unveiled: Alleged APC Thugs Plan To Unleash Mayhem In Kogi State Election*

As the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State draws near, shocking revelations have surfaced regarding a devious plan by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to use hired thugs to instigate violence and disrupt the peaceful electoral process. *The People’s Democratic Party (PDP)* has blown the whistle on these heinous plots in a press conference held earlier today.

According to intelligence obtained by the PDP campaign, the APC has coordinated the production and distribution of counterfeit police uniforms, with the intention of presenting their thugs as bona fide law enforcement officers. These uniforms have reportedly been smuggled into Kogi State, awaiting the deployment to sow chaos in the upcoming election.

Further investigations have unearthed the unsettling information that these thugs are allegedly being imported from Kwara, Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo States, under the guise of official activities by the Yahaya Bello administration. Reports further indicate that additional hired thugs from Lagos and Shaki, Oyo State have been uncovered. Perturbingly, these hoodlums from Lagos are alleged to have received a substantial sum of N2 million from a top government official in the Yahaya Bello administration for their transportation. The PDP has strongly advised them not to venture back into Kogi State, where their actions will be met with unyielding resistance.

Shockingly, it has been discovered that desperate measures are being taken by Governor Yahaya Bello to plant hoodlums in various communities with the aim of disrupting electoral activities. The PDP has unparalleled awareness of these deceptive tactics, exemplified by the presence of a dangerous APC thug known as Kamal in the Ogidi community. Kamal pretended to be searching for accommodation for alleged “INEC staff” who are purportedly assigned to the community. The PDP questions the plausibility of an APC thug playing the role of a facilitator for electoral staff, raising suspicions about the ulterior motives behind these acts.

Equally disturbing is the revelation of an APC plan to assassinate innocent Kogi State residents, notably *Fortune Omuya, Jacob Anebe, Nuhu Ododo (a.k.a. Ozivava), and Kadiri Yakubu (a.k.a. Nagaziman)*, within the Kogi Central Senatorial District. The PDP urges security agencies to take immediate action to ensure the safety of these individuals and to bring the violent-prone APC leaders to justice. The responsibility for any killings, disappearances, and electoral violence during the November 11 election should lie solely with Yahaya Bello and the APC leadership.

The PDP demands a transparent and fair election that upholds the fundamental right of every Kogite. With unwavering support from the people, the tide of victory rightfully belongs to the PDP and Sen. Dino Melaye. The PDP cautions Yahaya Bello and the APC to come to terms with their rejection, sparing themselves the embarrassment of an imminent colossal defeat.

Ahead of the November 11, 2023 governorship election in Kogi State, the Dino/Habiba Governorship Campaign yesterday accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of spreading “seasonal lies” spiced with cheap talks and empty promises.

The PDP campaign while reacting to APC’s Campaign Flag-off in Lokoja, Kogi State capital, said recourse to falsehood cannot save the APC in the November 11 election as the people can see through their antics.

The Campaign invites Kogites to note how the promises by the APC to build the Ganaja – Ajaokuta; Lokoja – Okene; Kabbba – Ilorin roads as well as the completion of Ajaokuta Steel have become “seasonal lies” of out-going Governor Yahaya Bello and the APC in their bid to further beguile our people.

Spokesperson of the Sen. Dino/Habiba Campaign Council, Barr. Omoyemi Olumudi, in a statement, said “At every election season, the APC and Governor Yahaya Bello will come up with seasonal lies to hoodwink the people of Kogi State.

It is ridiculous that at the end of every four years, the leaders of APC will brazenly itemize the same challenges that they APC foisted on the people, make empty promises that they do not intend to fulfill, all to hoodwink the people until another four years when election is due. Cheap talk.

“Kogites can remember in 2019 how the immediate past Governor of Kogi State Malam Nasir el-Rufai, came and knelt down in assurance that the out-going Bello will deliver on good governance; an assurance that was never fulfilled.

“It is imperative for those on APC campaign train to Lokoja on Sunday to report if they saw anything new during their stay in the state capital. If anything, Yahaya Bello and Usman Ododo have impoverished the people the more.

“Moreover, it is clear that the people of Kogi State have seen the end of the APC government in the State and are prepared to elect the candidate of the PDP, Senator Dino Melaye, to rescue the State from the throngs of corrupt and insensitive administration of the APC.

“Our campaign counsels the APC Candidate, Usman Ododo, to note that he is no match for PDP’s more popular Dino Melaye and should therefore be ready to accept the inevitable defeat that awaits him and the APC on November 11.

“Kogites have made up their mind to vote in Senator Dino Melaye as the next Governor of the State and not even the litany of lies, false promises and resort to violence will save the APC in this election,” the statement added.

Nothing will save Yahaya Bello and his candidate. He can't run Kogi state underground,distributing money to celebrities, bribing to subvert justice, rigging election.
