Not anything out of the ordinary. That is how it ought to be. Nigerians do not appear to know what is good for them. He should have been voted as President. He gave Nigerians an opportunity to choose him. THAT INDEED IS THE REASON HE THREW HIS HAT INTO THE RING. Some refer to it as "testing the waters". He has no choice but to travel "modestly".

1. He's not part of the federal government and he's not on official government assignment in the US, so he's not getting any protection.
2. He can't bring his Nigerian security (if he had any) to the US since he's not a head of state.
3. He doesn't own a private jet so he has to travel commercial like everyone.

Other than that he seems like a nice, intelligent, and eloquent man who could have been President.
