Many big farmers are unwilling to return to their farms. Even small placeholder farmers near urban areas are not safe. When the govt of China realised how powerful they could be...what they did was to assemble the best heads in the country including scientists,engineers,doctors,developers and many more in others fields of human development in the country.

They budgeted subsidy till May this year under Buhari but THEY DID NOT PAY ONE KOBO from January instead NNPC was subsidizing from its operational funds
The government still owes NNPC
That debt is still there and has not been paid

To pay any more subsidy the government have had to borrow at a time when over 90 % of its revenue was being used to service debt. The only sources of borrowing would have been the likes of IMF who were saying REMOVE SUBSIDY before we lend you any more money

So ADULTS deal with reality not ideals or SHOULD HAVE but REALITY

THERE IS NO MONEY FOR SUBSIDY
No explanation or recrimination will change that
