After watching a documentary on the story of Rwanda (Rwanda : Do scars ever fade?) I can only wonder what exactly makes people believe that they are superior, or inferior to others. In the pre-colonial times, the Hutus of Rwanda were cattle rearers while the Tutsis were farmers, therefore the Hutus were richer and very quickly became superior within the community. . . Shortly after, Europeans came in and clearly separated the Hutus from the Tutsis - Measured things like the lenght of their noses, the diameter of heads and eyes, issued individuals with ID cards stating their tribes. . . And then, gave them independence. Anyways, down the line and years later, this blew up into the mass genocide in Rwanda which only ended in 2003.
