Labour Party Agent Beaten, Bundled Out Of Imo Collation Centre

In Imo State, Calistus Ihejiagwa, an agent of the Labour Party (LP), faced physical assault and was forcefully removed from the Imo State Collation Centre in Owerri on Sunday morning.

This incident occurred at 5 am during the ongoing collation, as fellow party agents expelled him. Ihejiagwa consistently contested the results from local government areas, arguing that they differed from the data on the Result Viewing Portal (IReV).

Despite expressing his intention to submit a petition to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), he was silenced by the election's Returning Officer, Prof Abayomi Fashina, who claimed it was beyond his authority to receive petitions.

The Labour Party agent called for a suspension of the collation to reconcile the figures on the IReV with those provided by LGA collation officers.

However, his demands were perceived as disruptive by colleagues, leading to his removal from the collation centre at 5 am while the collation process continued.

IREV is far more credible than INEC.
The reason why APC political party is against the transmission of election results into the irev but want manual collation is because they want to perpetuate their rigging tactics.
What even beat my imagination is the judiciary that even condemn the use of IREV as a yardstick for a credible election and affirm INEC who is a dubious electoral body as the authentic platform for announcing the outcome of an election.

Imagine that other party agents where the ones who deemed him a nuisance to the democratic process and flushed him outside where LP belongs in the wilderness.

These are the same LP miscreants who boasted like fascists that they would hide the voters card of their family who don't want to vote LP.

The same LP miscreants who assaulted a voter in the SouthEast that did not vote for Peter Obi.

The same LP miscreants who as electoral officers went to conduct election with the mindset that they must deliver Obi in their Polling Unit despite being staff of INEC.

What is immediately obvious is that Peter Obi only has following among his fellow Igbos when competing against other tribes. Competing or trying to influence within his own, he is as useless as they promised him he would be.

That is why since departing from APGA, he has never brought victory to any party he belongs to as far as Igbo political contest is concerned.

Thereby underscoring the fact that Igbos voted for him in the 2023 presidential election because he was considered the Igbo candidate.

Well, it's just my opinion, but the act, even on live TV, seems very barbaric to me.

If you watch his submission towards the end of the video, you'll realize the guy was making a valid point; he even supported it with references to the constitution.

Another question arises: if he was genuinely disruptive, as claimed, why not let the police handle it?

That's my primary concern. Picture the police standing right there, witnessing everything but failing to intervene; instead, they watched civilians take the law into their own hands. That was clearly a form of jungle justice, chief.

Pandoras' box was opened the moment the weak GEJ allowed Buhari, Tinubu and their gang of criminals in APC bully and rig him out of office in 2015, and given the realities of Nigeria today, it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to return all the demons and afflictions back into the box through resorting to the conventional means of partisan-politics, elections, the judiciary and the Nigerian security.....they're all controlled by Tinubu and his gang! State-capture is real and Nigeria is living it! The only way Nigeria can be free is for alternative means to be used to try and clean the Augean stables!

It's only naive and tusting 'one Nigerianists' that still live in hope rather than expectation, and said hope will continue to be dashed over and over again for as long as they keep doing things the same way and expecting a different results!
