Their DStv is even doing worst to is subscribers here in Nigeria and no regulatory institution is checkmating them at all. DStv will even block your channels one full day before you current subscription expires. That has been my experience with their cable network for the past three months now and complain enough and nothing change 1 Like |

LMFAO. Yes, Nigerian government will chase out real investors out of Nigeria because of the whining of Nigerian street traders in South Africa . Goodluck with that my friend. The same way we are required to be involved only in the formal economy of Nigeria, that's exactly what you'll be required to do in South Africa. Invest in the formal economy and create employment the same way SA companies do in Nigeria and not come here with your salons harrassing us in street corners for patronage or using some internet cafes and dirty spare parts shops as fronts for your drug trade. The government and people of SA arent stupid. Your days are numbered here. Follow the laws and rules of the land, if you can't, then go back home. 1 Like 1 Share |

madmohamed: Misrepresentation of the truth. The South African laws allow foreign companies to bring in workers from their own countries if you can prove that such skills are scarce in South Africa or you couldn't find people qualified and experienced to do the work. But what you cannot do is import workers when the skills are readily available in the country. If you let that happen in your own country without the citizens making noise and the government acting, whose fault is that ? |
Re: I by Lionessza6(f): 6:03pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
CallmeTrinity:Smart one, there are no skilled professionals or expatriates that are chased out of SA , what we don't want is dirty informal businesses like salons, dirty markets , internet cafes, churches in every corner, spare parts shops even on our pavements etc. These are the investments your people bring here, and you want us to be happy with such nonsense when SA brings real investments to your country ? Never!. Bring us your industries , supermarket chains, manufacturing companies etc. Not petty traders and hustlers who are a burden to our infrastructure and ailing economy. How are your hawkers going to hurt the economy of SA when they're chased out? . Are they paying taxes or employing people : No! So who loses?. We want only quality foreigners who add value to the country not parasites . 2 Likes 2 Shares |
Re: I by Lionessza6(f): 6:15pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
madmohamed:Smart one , do your unregistered salons and spare parts shops pay tax in SA?. Guess what, the businesses you want closed down are tax generating enterprises that add value to your national budget and create employment for your citizens. What value do Nigerians add to SA apart from the few professionals here? The rest, what are they here for ? 1 Like 1 Share |

madmohamed:They should protect Nigerians living in South Africa? Same Nîgeriàns that will gladly abuse Nigèria and praise South Africa? There's no place like home, Nigerians need to learn this the hard way. |

JagabanB: We also don't want trashy people that will insult their own fatherland to come here. If someone can call their own home a zoo and all sorts of names because things arent going well, how willl they treat our country and what will they call our home if things don't work out for them here ?. Will you respect us if we come over there and we start insulting South Africa and our elders ? |

Re: I by JagabanB: 6:30pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
Lionessza6:I for one doñ't give a gooooddddamnnn fvck about Nigèrians living in SA. Many of them are uneducated foIks without skiIIs, they simply travel out to "hustle". U can dèpórt them if u wish, I for doñ't care, I will be pàiñed if the government gives them attention. It's a good thing our government is not giving proper attention to those whom the German Chancellor told the president he will deport. Professionals from Nigèria don't really fancy SA. They prefer Europe and North America, the ones u are seeing in most Africàñ countries are MOSTLY people who came there to "hustle", if u foIks want to deport them, the baII is in ur court, someone calling out the government to retaliate because of some foIks who wón't bat an eyelid to àbûse their country and praise SA forgetting they will call on their country to defèñd them when crîsès arise. |
Re: I by JagabanB: 6:33pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
Lionessza6:Remove ur taxes and our budget won't be affected, taxes go to so many things in a country, I am sure u should be aware of that. |
Re: I by Lionessza6(f): 6:41pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
JagabanB: Tax revenue collected by the government goes un-accounted for in Nigeria? If not then that tax is part of your budget whether it is used to pay salaries of civil servants or give out as charity to thugs during election by the APC. If it's used by your government, then it's definitely part of your budget no matter how small. |
Re: I by Lionessza6(f): 6:46pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
JagabanB: Some professionals from Nigeria don't fancy SA but some do, it might not be their first choice but they definitely do apply for jobs here. With that being said, yes most Nigerians here have no business being here as you said. That is why op is crying he knows with the new proposed legislation they will finally be sent back to where they belong so that we can have space and time to face our problems and miscreants. Op should start packing and stop wailing 1 Like |
Re: I by JagabanB: 6:58pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
Lionessza6:Definitely there will be Nigerian professionals same way there are SA professionals as well as those who are not professionals here. The fact remains that MOST professionals from Nigeria prefer Europe and North America. Capable professionals will NEVER put SA as first choice when leaving Nigèria, only those "hustlers" will do that. U can deport them (although we know the proposed legislation won't work out), if some people who are so quick to îñsuIt Nigèria in favor of the country they are staying and crîsès break out, then they expect Nigeria to retaliate on their behalf, it won't work. German Chancellor on his 1 week visit here said same thing and the president didn't give him a satisfactory answer, something I am most pleased with. |
Re: I by JagabanB: 6:59pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
Lionessza6:Not part of our budget, u don't write our budget, do u? Ur ANC gives money to thugs in ur country? Because here party don't give money to thugs. |
Re: I by Lionessza6(f): 7:07pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
JagabanB: No , I don't draft your budget and neither do I draw the SA budget but logic tells me that every cent collected by the government adds to the national budget especially taxes from multinationals and income tax. That's good to hear that Nigerian politicians don't get themselves involved with election fraud and other crimes related to that because in many countries including SA we suffer from that. |
