Where are those criticizing dangote and co for having an EBITDA margin of 50% claiming it's too much compared to Europe where there is about 13% margin.
This is MTN leaving a country because of a margin drop to 33% claiming it's poor.
The real profit margin might eventually not be more than 10 to 15% which at the end might be similar to the European nations we are using as comparison in the same industry

I hate it when Nigeria mentioned natural resources.
If it's by natural resources Nigeria is potentially a 10trn economy but look at where we are.

Our natural resources further exponent our lack of creative ideals and innovation of the politicians and the people.

LOL included. Mtn will pay $1bn bride if there's any hint that Nigeria want to ban them.
Do you know how much they make per year.
Nigeria will be the last country, in fact that'll sharply stop operating in South Africa before thinking of Nigeria

The moment Glo degraded its network infrastructures to Chinese made, its doom began!

MTN already in same line, and it’s just a matter of time.

Operators are now going for cheaper and less quality infrastructures

Sometimes I think Glo operates on a level unknown to others because their penchant for investing in adverts over infrastructure is why they are loved for patriotic reasons but not patronised for logical reasons.

Yawns. I dont want success that comes from suffocating an entire nation
Re: MTN To Exit Liberia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea-Conakry by pansophist(m): 2:14pm On Nov 13, 2023
Population doesn't matter when the buying power of that population is negligible.

For example, a telecom company will make more money in the Netherlands, a country of 18 million people, than in Nigeria, a country of over 200M people.

I repeat, the population is nothing if their buying power is nothing. Lots of companies are leaving Nigeria too, regardless of our so-called huge population.
