Christian politicians are the most useless sets of people in Nigeria.. CAN used to be very active as the voice of Christians, but they ar quiet lately. Christians are in slumber, while the muslim minority are actively running this country as an Islamic country. They used to do it secretly, but now, they do it openly. They believe in optics and symbolism, hence their insistence on the Muslim-Mulsim ticket; hence their anger that an assertive Southern Christian is the FCT minister; hence their insistence that the islamic( arabic) writing on the currency not be removed when Emefiele was about to re-design the currency.

IN THEIR EYES, NIGERIA IS AN ISLAMIC OUNTRY AND THEY PORTRAY THIS IMAGE IN THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY.

MY SUGGESTION:
There is need for a strong caucus in the National Assembly across tribes, states, and possibly religion, that aggressively safeguards Nigeria as a FREE SECULAR STATE AND CHECKS ANY ACT OF GOVERNMENT THAT MIGHT SUGGEST THAT THERE IS AN OFFICIAL STATE RELIGION IN NIGERIA. IT NEEDS TO SAFEGUARD THE MULIT-ETHNIC, MULTI-RELIGOUS ENTITY CALLED NIGEIRA.

But I won't hold my breath, our legislators, especially those from the South, are cowards, clueless, or selfish.
