Without voting or an act of the national assembly, some rogues called leaders stole Nigeria away and stuck it in the OIC. Muslims are happy but Christians, and adherents of the ATR are not. Muslims, would you be happy if a Christian political leader had formally declared Nigeria a Christian state? Then, is Nigeria really an Islamic country according to the constitution that describes it as multi-religious and multi-ethnic (multi-nation) state? |

Gradually, NIGERIA is being painted as an Islamic country. Muslims occupied most of the high positions in the country. Christians supporting the Muslim Muslim ticket for political crumbs have sold their birthright. CAN, PFN, etc should wake up 1 Like |

vivalavida: Shut up! What concerns Christians with a decision made by hypocritical muslims? They chose Nigeria because you useless, intolerant jihadists registered Nigeria as an Islamic country, despite not having more than 50% of the population. This was the main reason you idiots insisted on the Muslim Muslim ticket to justify your membership of that OIC, which is technically an Islamic terrorist organisation |

FreeStuffsNG: All what you jihadists want is to paint Nigeria internationally as an Islamic country, and nothing more. Nothing concerns you terrorists with the development of the country. All that matters is to get it registered as a member of that terror organisation aka OIC, and then get an MM ticket to justify it and receive some accolades from Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar. Useless, intolerant terrorists who can't just cohabit freely and peacefully with others on equal terms without attempting to dominate over them. |

The same Saudi that deported our citizens ? Naija suppose reject the letter from Saudi. Though e sweet me because we wasting money improving another country's economy in the name of pilgrimage. Creating pressure on dollars thereby Naira losing value. Same with those going to Jerusalem. |

Christian politicians are the most useless sets of people in Nigeria.. CAN used to be very active as the voice of Christians, but they ar quiet lately. Christians are in slumber, while the muslim minority are actively running this country as an Islamic country. They used to do it secretly, but now, they do it openly. They believe in optics and symbolism, hence their insistence on the Muslim-Mulsim ticket; hence their anger that an assertive Southern Christian is the FCT minister; hence their insistence that the islamic( arabic) writing on the currency not be removed when Emefiele was about to re-design the currency. IN THEIR EYES, NIGERIA IS AN ISLAMIC OUNTRY AND THEY PORTRAY THIS IMAGE IN THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY. Below are some of the EVIDENCE THAT NIGERIA IS BEING RUN AS AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY: 1. IBB enrolled Nigeria as a member state of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Check this :https://www.oic-oci.org/states/?lan=en 2. Google "The Abuja Declaration of 1989." This communique was issued in 1989 as the aftermath of the OIC conference in Abuja. There, it was definitely sealed that Nigeria and her institutions are islamic. Check this: https://nigeriaworld.com/feature/publication/oborji/052422.html#google_vignette 3. Though Arabic is not our official language, there is an Arabic inscription on our money and the muslim elites will "go to war" to keep that Arabic inscription. They were all nervous when Emefiele wanted to re-design the Naira; bigoted and deposed Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi had to come out to assure the Muslim community that the Arabic inscription will remain in tact. 4. The Nigerian Army motto is written in Arabic and it means "Victory is from Allah alone." Interestingly, that was the motto of Fulani Jihadist, Uthman Dan Fodio. It was the battle cry of the Fulani jihadisst of the 19th century! Now connect the dots. The implication is clear. 5. In spite of section 10 of the "1999 constitution," the twelve core Northern states are actively running a Sharia system- they have effectively seceded from the entity called Nigeria. They have their courts, they have their morality police, and they go about violating the rights of Nigerians in their territories in the name of enforcing sharia law. 6. They vowed that a Christians will not have important political positions in the Middle Belt, hence their outrage at Wike's appointment. Hence their persecution of Christians in the Middle Belt. They are bent on creating and maintaining the optical illusion of a monolithic, islamic "North." There are many other real and anecdotal evidence, but these should lead any one who cares about a free, secular Nigerian state to worry. MY SUGGESTION: There is need for a strong caucus in the National Assembly across tribes, states, and possibly religion, that aggressively safeguards Nigeria as a FREE SECULAR STATE AND CHECKS ANY ACT OF GOVERNMENT THAT MIGHT SUGGEST THAT THERE IS AN OFFICIAL STATE RELIGION IN NIGERIA. IT NEEDS TO SAFEGUARD THE MULIT-ETHNIC, MULTI-RELIGOUS ENTITY CALLED NIGEIRA. But I won't hold my breath, our legislators, especially those from the South, are cowards, clueless, or selfish. 1 Like |

vivalavida: Can you explain further what you mean by the scales here? Because nothing concerns religion in this war, it's simply a war against terrorism and war against zero tolerance for terrorism!! As Nigerians, we must be de tribalized and stop playing religion in everything so we can have a great country. |

Una better thread carefully and use una number six, Nigeria is a secular nation and not a religious one....we need both Israel and Gaza, and the world, so our comments should be neutral as much as possible while peace should be a keyword in our contribution....
