We've seen Deputy Governors response denying receipt of the huge sum. Waiting for the Governor's office and updates from the Procurement agency. The transparency is appreciated but prudence and accountability are very important.

Be reasonable for once. I am from the west like you. Instead of you to blame these politicians draining us,
you are here insulting Obi who don't know you exist. Is the governor going to give you one naira from the loots? Most of you on nairaland are damn so shallow minded. All you guys know is been tribalistic and I believe most of you cant eat one square meal a day

This doesn't justify the fact that LP who promised to be different is actually also a scam. Shame on obidients because their LP is same with APC/PDP. No difference. I will rather follow the openly corrupt person than the corrupt, holier-than-thou pretender of a person.

Second term is usually a time governors in Nigeria to embezzle and empty their state's Treasury to settle your generation and generation unborn using all means.

He has paid the jagabandit his bills for making him governor, it's now time to gulp up his own. Time no dey.

Meanwhile, the jagabandit has started his own in first tenure because man really spent millions of not billions of dollars on APCshit Ticket, campaign, thugs, EYE-INEC, Chicago and Judiciary. This Guys supposed to be st0ned or hãnged, if Nigeria were China.

The problem with governance in Nigeria is that there are too many greedy people you have to settle, and the settlement comes from overinflated contracts.

Nigerians are really making sacrifices for these polithiefcians to loot.
Governorship election in Lagos State will always be a do or die politics because of the huge internalrevenue the state generate and the wasteful spending of the government.
Ex governor Fashola spent 130m to construct 2 boreholes and another 100m to develop personal website.
If a driver break traffic laws,he pays huge fine.
If a company cause environmental or noise pollution, the company pays huge fine.
Petty traders are also not left out in this extortion.

It is very clear now that the politicians are living at the mercy of the youths of this country. Nothing will ever change until the youths rise up and take their lands from this money sucking demons. But the government are too wise to empower poverty in the land, So that anybody that makes an attempt to unite these people can be easily bought. God save us

It's so sad to know that Lagosians accept this kind of looting of the state treasury. If it is BBN of EPL that has any news you will see how the jobless youths that are waiting for state handout will start agitating.
