Virtually every year, Lagos states often have to come out to defend some expenses that they make. Many of these expenses are in the public domain because Lagos state publishes those expenses on their websites by themselves and not that there was any investigative journalism to get them.

I find it really interesting that a state will willingly publish her expenses even when some of them are controversial and will lead to backlash.

To the best of my knowledge, no other state publishes her expenses and budget like Lagos does. Correct me if I am wrong,
