IFHA: Stakeholders Brainstorm on Curbing Poverty, Malnutrition, Hunger through Global Food Security and Hospitality.

On Friday, October 27, 2023, the International Food Heroes Agency (IFHA) hosted its annual conference on Food Security, Nutrition, and Hospitality, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. With the theme "Safe Food Today for a Healthy Tomorrow," the conference took place at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja, Nigeria. This year's edition of the conference aimed to shed light on the crucial topics of Food Security, Nutrition, and Hospitality, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 2, 3, and 17. These goals seek to eradicate poverty, achieve zero hunger, ensure good health and well-being, and foster partnerships for sustainable development.

In his opening remarks, convener Amb. Nsikan Paul, who also serves as the Principal Partner of the International Food Heroes Agency (IFHA), highlighted the pressing issue of climate change and its adverse effects on food production. He emphasized that inadequate infrastructure, government policies, systemic national issues, and limited access to nutritious food only exacerbate the complexity of these challenges. To tackle these issues effectively, it is crucial for us to come together and work collaboratively.

Africa, with its rich abundance of natural resources and diverse culinary heritage, has immense potential to become a global leader in food security and nutrition. However, numerous challenges impede our progress. From the disruptions caused by climate change to inadequate infrastructure and limited access to nutritious food, these obstacles demand our collective attention.

The conference was graced by the presence of esteemed individuals from various sectors that make up the food industry, policy makers, government parastatals, and other influential figures. Among the notable attendees were Dr. Ayodeji Fred Mafikuyomi, a serial entrepreneur and the Group Managing Director of Unicorn Holdings Limited; Professor Gbolagade Babalola Ayoola, a distinguished Professor of Agricultural Economics and Policy, who is also the driving force behind the Right to Food Bill in Nigeria; Hon. Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi, the newly appointed Mandate Secretary for Women and Children Affairs, FCTA, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Dr. Ayuba, the former President of the Abuja Body of Comedians; Mr. Malachy Ukpong, a former Assistant Director of News at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN); Lois Auta, a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, and Founder of Cedar Seed Foundation, among many other dignitaries.

During the course of the event, several individuals were honored with awards for their outstanding contributions to the food industry over the years. Among the deserving recipients were Chef Onome Sarah, CEO of Saotin Food Factory; Chef Linda Brown, CEO of Calabar Pot; Chef Fatima; Chef Dr. Kelly Sampa (CELEBRITY CHEF); Chef Gloria Noah Abama, CEO of En-knit Concept, and many other distinguished chefs. Additionally, Dr. Ayodeji Fred Mafikuyomi, Professor Gbolagade Babalola Ayoola, Dr. Ayuba, Mr. Malachy Ukpong, and other esteemed fellows were inducted as Board of Directors for the International Food Heroes Agency (IFHA), further cementing their commitment to driving positive change in the food industry.

During the event, a wide range of agricultural and food items were showcased, offering valuable insights and opportunities for attendees to explore.

Furthermore, the leadership of IFHA unveiled a special edition of a magazine during the conference. This magazine showcased individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities and countries, while also featuring insightful articles on food security and safety. The magazine included profiles of distinguished men and women, captivating interviews, and thought-provoking opinions from experts in the field.

The annual conference on Food Security, Nutrition, and Hospitality organized by the International Food Heroes Agency (IFHA) serves as a platform to address critical issues plaguing the food industry. By bringing together influential figures, policy makers, and industry experts, the conference aims to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and chart a path towards a more sustainable and secure food future.

Overall, the annual conference hosted by the International Food Heroes Agency (IFHA) was a resounding success. It brought together key stakeholders from various sectors to address the pressing issues of food security, nutrition, and hospitality, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and sustainable development. With Africa's potential to become a global leader in these areas, events like this serve as a catalyst for positive change and inspire individuals to work towards a future where safe food is accessible to all, promoting a healthier tomorrow for everyone.

Just have a disciplined govt. Cutting earnings and doing things holistically. It's not rocket science.
As a man, if you are earning less, spend less.
Nigerian politicians are still enjoying bogus emoluments. In most sectors, the cost of governance is ridiculous and there's no check to holistically determine how it's spent and if they are spending it well.

The major reason for rising poverty and hunger in Nigeria is bad leadership.Nigeria has vast arable land on which it can produce food for her people and larger portion of the world population. As for poverty, corrupt leaders have hijacked Nigeria's common wealth and patrimony.

Trust me, this kind of meeting would be sponsored underneath by George Soros and Bill Gates for their GMO rubbish and failed Africa depopulation agenda ( the real goal of these pink supremacists).
