I don’t even know what he’s looking for in the edo state governorship election. He didn’t want to drag the edo north senatorial district with Oshimole niii. He want to create dynasty and structures for himself in Edo state. He has failed woefully on that.

Philip is a good politician but his problem is that Obaseki wants power to rotate along tribal/Senatorial Zones bases just like in Delta, Enugu, Anambra, Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Abia States unlike in Benue and Kogi states where Tiv and Igala sees the office of the governor as a birthright until Ebira decided to collect it by force using mass rigging as per Kogi state.

Power rotation brings calm and tranquility in the states practicing it, during election everyone in the mentioned states knows the zone to produce the governor and all the major parties will feature only candidates from that zone.

Yes Philip Shaibu has every constitutional right to contest but Obaseki also has valid reasons for not supporting him
