Talk is cheap

He is saying the truth. Unless you live in the cities, things like ugwu leaves, pepper, yams (to some extent) are easily farmed.

Pepper and ugwu don't even need much land. Just a small space around the window will do.

I don't buy yam unless seasons when I travel to the cities.

You are trying. I've stopped buying yams because I discovered that rice seems cheaper. A N1700 tuber of yam will not serve my family twice whereas a kilo of rice at the same price will be cooked 2 times.
We're all economists grin grin in this nation now
have you considered the other items qiae need for eating? Yam can go with red oil and salt, while rice? Tomatoes, pepper, maggi, oil, salt, etc.

Happy new month everyone, so I was in the market few minutes ago to get some food stuffs.

So I decided to get a tuber of yam. To my surprise, they said it is #1,200.

How much is it in your area?

Very cheap.

My personal problem with consuming yams is that i do not digest them. Once i eat them. Its like my entire stool is purely yam.

I am wondering if i am the only one experiencing this.

Your digestive system doesn't like it. Watch the time you eat it.
Don't eat it at night.

Therefore he should complete the sentence by only referring to people who don't live in the city

Also he mentioned 250 tubers

In this Timnubu voodoo economy, it's actually cheap. This is more like Buhari economy yam price.

In Jonathan/YARADUA/Obasanjo time, this yam was between 250/300. Now it's 1500 in my area with abeg.

This is the consequences of voting in bad leaders. I see Nigeria becoming great again.

This I have seen.
That same size of yam in question will come back to #300 or money will be plenty in Nigeria that we will not complain of that price?
".... Nigeria becoming great again" of yours will take how many years to this time?
You see, 38year ago (in 1985), Ebenezer Babatope Obey Commander, a renown juju musician in the South West, sang a song (in the Album with which he praised our World Cup Under-16 victorious Golden Eaglets) of hope like yours "THIS NIGERIA WILL BE GOOD, I AM SURE" . 38yrs now, years counting still in progress, Nigeria is yet to be good.
