The govt made us learn about what Mungo Park, Flora Shaw etc did but failed to teach us about how the Yoruba were the ones who took civilisation to the Igbo.

I am shocked that as recent in history as at 1963, people were still walking around unclothed and uncivilized in Igboland and it took several campaigns and the effort of moving clothes produced by the Yoruba in Yorubaland to Igboland in order to persuade and help those unclothed Igbo in the records to cover their unclothedness. This is a great account of the past.

The Yoruba had actually loved and helped the Igbo become civilised today, historical account like this is good as it would have helped especially the Igbo of this day know that the Yoruba are their benefactors.
