Thank You,Tope Ajayi and O P Nept2,for this important Clarifications!
•In Nigeria, the Social Media Agents and their gaulibles -audiences,are always unrest, in frivolous matters,so Nigerians don't trust the govt again and again!
Welldone but some Govnrs that went there- are they not going to pay Foreign Currencies ni- when Palliatives are yet to be paid to the Masses of their States!
* • Maddam Beta Edu ( of Poverty Alieviation)- how now,for this is Dec,o, nothing yet for Retirees in Nigeria!
1-The best approach is to paly with the Retirement Organisation Body,in Abuja.
2- Obtain the Current Records from them.Or
3- get your Own-Officials to seat with them and .
4- Get the Bankers ( their List) and ask the Bank-MD- to release - those that wants to Work on this assignment with your own Officials-for this important assignment!
4- Credit the Retirees Palliatives Account Numbers.
4-Ensure this is done before Christmas,so that they continue to support and Pray for your Success.
For others- they have Unions e.g Welder , Tailors( Fashion Designers Association), Market Women Association), should go through their Association!
5• Don't follow any of your Former Official Convoluted-Register- it's fraudulent because till date * No one is recorded as having Collected- COVID-19 Homongous NBILLIONS Money ,yet!
• If Tunji-Ojo of the Interior; Umahi of Roads,Wike of FTC, Bosun- of Innovations and Digital Economy- are pulling themselves/ the weight of their Dept, then ,their still hope for Nigeria.
•Corruption will Not Kill Us!
-It is not a Rocket Science to the the tight things for the Masses - let us think Outside the Box,to achieve unusual degree of Success in our Various MIDAS ( Min& Depts).
•If Dr Adesina-of Afdb-could get Farmers Wallet - to Pay Each Farmers, their Money, when he was Agriculture Minister then, other Ministries and Department should do more for Nigerians!
God bless Nigeria!

2 Simple questions weren’t answered:

1. How many were sponsored by FG?

2. How many were sponsored by State Gov.?

All the write-up is BS as it didn’t clarify the above.

Any Nigerian defending the write-up and event without 1 & 2 above is a looter of the nation!

First of, its a lie that China brought over 3k. Nigeria had the the 3rd highest number of delegates in the entire world (as per se na Nigeria climate change dey affect pass abi?). It would have been the second if not that UAE who sponsored the event unsurprisingly and expectedly had the highest number of delegates. (Rich China and Nigeria brought in the same number of delegates ie 1411)

Even the well-to-do countries like the USA, Canada, the UK etc half the number of delegates that Nigeria had. But na for this kind wastage Nigeria dey like to show themselves.

The true facts are here:

Most of those spreading the 1400 figure including the defeated Peter Obi are well aware that FG did not sponsor all of them. They know a lot of state governments, private companies, civil society organizations, media houses etc all got invited and sent in delegates they sponsored.

But it’s good politics to lump everyone together and accuse Tinubu of flying them to Dubai for COP28. Obidients thrive on false news, lies and propaganda so no one is surprised.

I like the fact that you mention Peter Obi and Obidients in all your political mentions, it shows that they are the real opposition and your headache. If they weren't strong as you always try to paint them, they wouldn't be taking most of your mentions.

SaharaReporters opened up the can of worms, and you are pointing accusing fingers on Peter Obi and Obidients. Its going to be a long 4 years of excuses and defence.

How in the world can they be truly serious about climate change with approximately 97,000 delegates flying in to attend that conference? 🤔 Someone in another thread already said its just a giant party and vacation going on. Perhaps with mass debauchery taking place.
Re: Nigeria At COP28: Separating The Facts From Fiction by Bimpe29: 1:48pm On Dec 03, 2023
The towering list of delegate sponsored by/with our common wealth is disturbing, reckless and height of insensitivity on the part of government.

We are yet to come of the trauma occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy and the cost of governance is growing astronomically with recourse to the need for providing succor to the masses.

To add salt to the nagging injury, government has been brazenly lavishing monies on things of lesser priority and of no value to the lives of the downtrodden.

Throwback:

How does it concern the Nigerian Government if private individual Nigerians want to attend a global summit?

Seems you not understanding. Private people are free to attend. That's the Fg sponsored list we are talking about..

Defensive actions not the best

Among the delegates from Nigeria are UBA Chairman, Tony Elumelu, Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman of BUA group, . . . . .are part of the 1,411 delegates from Nigeria. Their trip to Dubai is not funded by the Federal Government

Fine. Duly noted

But I was expecting to see the part of "the actual number sponsored by FG are xxxx. .", which the writer conveniently left out.

Let's face it, Tinubu govt is on an obscenely wasteful spending spree, which is particularly callous given the current economic situation at home

Ahah! Kadoso Mutairu aka seunmsg. How did the NuRTW meeting go? I mean the one involving Mushroompikin and all the other funny characters you so fondly mentioned in some other thread. Ot is safe to assume that that was where you went yesterday that prevented you from showing up on nairaland. Every Saturday now, it's either one Owambe or caucus meeting.
