My late mum who suffered from breast cancer died in active service on the 4th of July 2016.She had worked with the Nigerian union of teacher in headquarters for over 32 years . We buried her without any financial aid or support from the union.Ita now 8 years we haven't received anything from her gratuity or pension. I discovered NUT is not under PEMNCOM.I have satisfied all documentations to warrant the payment till date nothing.I have met with the ogas it's from one promise to another and irrelevant claims that the union is broke yet they globetrott endlessly. I am thinking of taking litigation steps, reporting them to ICPC and servicom and even dragging them on The human rights radio show in Abuja by ordinary Ahmed Isa . Someone told me that it might lead to frustration. I am confused on the right step to take and my siblings aren't happy at all. Only reasonable comments will attract my attention ONLY. |
