A truck loaded with diesel has been gutted by fire in the Ojota area of Lagos.

The Lagos fire rescue service swiftly extinguished the flame.

Sharing a video on the social media handle of the Lagos Fire Rescue Service on Monday, December 4, the caption reads: 'Situation in Ojota is under control as the peddler truck conveying Diesel inward Ketu that went on flame has been extinguished."

Hope no life was lost. There should be a special road-worthy government institution that should be reviewing tankers and trailers every few months just to ensure they are road-worthy and properly maintained.

It's high time vehicular (truck) and drivers sanity be watched before running on our roads. No collision, just burst into flames

- Another reason is that most Drivers intensional sabotage the Vehicles,having dropped halve of the contents of the tanks and pocket the Money,they put the rest of the Petrol or Diesels on Fire!
