KDSG receives briefings on Tudun Biri village attacks

-Meets Islamic clerics, traditional rulers

The Kaduna State Government has received briefings on Sunday night's attack which left several citizens dead and others injured.

In a meeting presided over by the Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, which had in attendance heads of security agencies, religious and traditional leaders, the Nigerian Army explained the circumstances which led to the unfortunate and unintended attack.

The General Officer Commanding One Division Nigerian Army, Major VU Okoro explained that the Nigerian Army was on a routine mission against terrorists but inadvertently affected members of the community.

The Deputy Governor at the end of the closed door meeting, conveyed the condolences of the Government and People of Kaduna State to the families that lost their loved ones, and prayed for the repose of the victims' souls.

As of the time of this update, search-and-rescue efforts are still ongoing, as dozens of injured victims have been evacuated to Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital by the Government.

Heads of security agencies who attended the meeting include the Commissioner of Police, MY Garba, and Director of the Department of State Services (DSS) Abdul Eneche. The Chairman of the Kaduna State Chapter of Jam'atu Nasril Islam (JNI) Professor Shafi'u Abdullahi, led other religious leaders. Also present at meeting was the District of Rigasa, Alhaji Aminu Idris in whose domain the incident occurred.

Nigeria is long gone. You can be killed for celebrating peacefully in your village, accidentally under calamity called APC. The irony was that military first denied it, but with overwhelming evidences, they retraced.

Like a terrorist organization would.

Normal process is to give intelligence to Defense Headquarters, while Air force goes on Surveillance, before NSA approves air raid

Nigerian Police Force are also planning on Upgrading to attack helicopters

Jeez! I remember this theory from my philosophy class called utilitarianism. An action is justified when it promotes greater good and far less evil. If the reverse is the case, such act is condemnable. In the case of Nigerian Army and other security apparatuses operating in the country, I am beginning to think their existence is negatively affecting the people even more than the vices they were set up to curtail . So sad.

Useless country. I used to be a true believer of this country but honestly I'm deceiving myself. Killing of hundreds on multiple occasions can't be a mistake and swept under the carpet.

This is no News Becauses they have been doing this for over 9 years now.
When buhari was president that was how a lot of families were wasted in the name of military routine.
When the routine of heaven starts non of them and their children shall escape from the endings

May Allah accept them unconditionally for meeting their death at the point of showing love for the holy Prophet (s.a.w.)
