The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University’s Yelwa Campus in Bauchi has shut down the institution following protests by students over the fatal stabbing of Joseph Agabaidu, a final-year Geology student of the institution, during a robbery attempt.

In a circular obtained by DAILY POST, and signed by the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Haj. Fatima Inuwa Abdullahi, the management approved the closure of the university for an ‘initial period of one week with effect from Monday, December 4, to Sunday, December 10.

They must all be arrested and prosecuted.
Nobody must protest..

They must enjoy tinubu the "master strategist" policies.

Proficiency in English language doesn't connote high intelligence or good education.

But at the same time, it is appropriate that official documents from formal organisations and offices be written correctly or at least with tolerable clerical errors.

This memo, duly signed by the School's Deputy Registrar, does not befit the status of a university.

Youths have been so quiet and useless that once you stand up to fight for your right,the power that be see you as miscreant.

Nigerian youths are so docile. They take anything thrown at them by the powers that be.

In situations like this,the school authority don't need to do much,just identify the person leading the protest,if he is a moslem,they will say he is doing it because the VC is a christian,and if he is a christian,then it will even be better. They will say a christian want to destroy their state. Before you know it ,the youths will start seeing reasons with them .

The youths are the ones holding this country back. The day the youths become united,say no to religion dogmatism and tribal sentiments that will be the day Nigeria will move forward.

These our leaders know this and that's why they will do anything to make sure the status quo remains the same.

What is this nonsense?

Is the guy pretending to be dead? He was stabbed to death, how is that "alleged"?

These are the useless people in "little places" that contribute to the decline of Nigeria. The response from management is insensitive and disgraceful.

Someone got MURDERED and this is the lackadaisical response of management.

I hope the students don't relent. If the school.cannot guarantee the safety of students, at least they should seek to do something tangible AFTER the fact.
