Senior Special Assistant to Governor Godwin Obaseki, Mr Andrew Enantomhen on Wednesday said that PDP Governorship ticket hopeful, Asue Ighodalo will lead Edo State to greater glory when elected Governor of Edo State.

He made this comment while speaking on the forthcoming Edo State Governorship election slated for next year.

"Consultations are still ongoing but I can assure that Asue Ighodalo will make a good successor for His Excellency Governor Godwin Obaseki.

"Asue Ighodalo will lead Edo State to greater glory. Asue Ighodalo is popularly known and accepted in all the rural communities in Edo State. He has touched many lives positively over the years. He is the best man to succeed Governor Godwin Obaseki.

"Asue Ighodalo is experienced. He has been around the conversation of governance in Edo State for a very long time. He understands the issues, he knows where we are as a State and he knows where we ought to be in some years time.
