I had carryover more than 21 years ago and I am still alive. Dont worry it will become history. I felt like this too when I had it like I was a failure. Now I cant even remember the name of the course not my scores anymore. Dust yourself and move on, once in a while we stumble but it doesnt mean we are failures

Anyways, having a carryover is not a big deal, what matters is that you have another semester to rewrite the exam and pass it well. If possible, score an A and up your grades again.

OP sound like a M.Sc candidate of National Open University.... this is not the end of your joining... Just try and score 25 and above in the next test and then 25 in exam and you're good to go.

I read out my eyes….I think it was fear and the time I saw counting. Before you read the question, answer it and go over the rest your time will elapse…20mins is just so small…

Relax... Stop trying so hard to prove that you're a diligent student, you have nothing to prove. It's all part of the academic journey.

Just work on your anxiety and be better prepared mentally. Like I said, 40 isn't an F so you might have even passed without knowing, all depends on your institution anyways.

My brother,your carryover is not the end of the world.l remember one of my brothers who had a carryover in his final year
Just one carryover and he had stay back when all his friends went for youth service.
That period was really a trying time for him but he got over it and graduated the following year
Today he is a Registered Surveyor and Director of his company,don't feel bad about it.
Just study hard and you will definately pass in flying colors

Some school F which is carryover na 49. It all boils down to schools. Some schools A is from 80 too not 70.

I know of a lady that was told by the school to take some of her carry overs to a nearby university because the school couldn't handle all of her carry overs. Why are you crying over just a single carryover.

Which school is that, I had 40E in my 200 level. 40 is E and not F in most Nigerian Uni

Many years ago after smashing through alot of As; I landed a D.



I fell sick for days.



Just cry all you can and pick up okay.


Recalculate your CGPA and move forwards

I wrote one professional exam and we were given the exam questions two days to the exam. Many schools abroad adopts this system.

According to the examining body, leaders are not people who should be taken unaware. It's an intentional process.

We still have a lot to learn in this country.
