What a funny country, the constitution is clear in situations like this, but because of personal interests, those concerned fail to do the needful. A governor that's said to be recuperating outside the state he governs has not been seen in public for months. Is this what the constitution says? Transmit power to your deputy so he can act in that capacity till you're fit to take back the reigns. How are we sure it's the governor signing those documents and not his wife or children. We don't lack a workable constitution but men who can't follow the constitution. We ain't serious about rule of law in Nigeria, we behave as if this is a lawless country, the house of assembly with power to do the needful are the ones behaving as if the governor can even rule the state if he's dead. We all in this country are hypocrites, this same governor called for resignation of late Yar'Adua then when he too became incapacitated and failed to resign.

By the way, this might be scheme to make people see the importance of allowing the deputy to act in his. This would put more pressure on the assembly to announce the deputy as the acting governor.
