IWA CELEBRATES NOBEL LAUREATE, NAGUIB MAHFOUZ'S 112TH POSTHUMOUS BIRTHDAY
The International Writers Association (IWA) has joined literary enthusiasts around the world in commemorating the 112th posthumous birthday of Naguib Mahfouz, the Egyptian literary giant who left an indelible mark on world literature.
In a statement released today, IWA President Wole Adedoyin expressed profound admiration and appreciation for Mahfouz's remarkable contributions to the African and Arab literary landscape. "Mahfouz's works continue to resonate with readers worldwide, offering profound insights into the human condition and the complexities of life," Adedoyin stated.
