The Ex CBN governor has left the position and still in prison so who do we blame for the current scarcity of naira.

This CBN governor is just digging his own grave. This is the wrongest time to be doing this. What is he even thinking?

Everything they criticized about emefieli, they have done. Even the subsidy they removed, has silently returned. The rates(black market and official) are up by at least N500 each, so what's the point still politicizing the emefieli issue if not for heartless destruction of the system that is their target?

Use your sense, emeifele withdrew cash from circulation deliberately...this is different, cash has not been withdrawn, or do you see mass queues and fights in banking halls like when emeifele committed his economic sabotage?

You should read to understand why he is still the one to be blamed for it. He was in office for 8 years and he used the last 6-8months of his tenures to withdraw cash and destroy them. The new CBN Governor has barely spent 3 months in office and new cash minting is not photocopy business. It will take at least 2 years to unwind the cash crunch Mr Emefiele brought upon this nation.

The problem is that most of you don't even understand governance. To destroy is easy but to fix the problem takes a lot of time.

The boko Haram problem that started with the killing of the head of the group by the police during Pa Obasanjo administration completely radicalised the group and almost 20 years after his killing, we are still dealing with the problem.

Opp@ yes Emefiele will still take the blame because it started in his regime, the current cash scarcity is after effect of the last regime policies.

Muhammad Yusuf the head of Boko Haram was killed in July 2009 when Yar Ardua was the Head of State.

Also, Boko Haram had been carrying out terrorist attacks for nearly 6 years before the Federal Government became serious about the threat that the group posed and finally decided to do something about them in 2009. In fact the main reason that Yusuf was killed in 2009 was that earlier in the year, BH had launched an armed insurrection which was spreading throughout Northern Nigeria

I've been observing your presence on this forum and I have noticed that the fabrication of lies is among the free stuff you love distributing, just like your lies about Nigeria's foreign debt which somehow made it to the Front Page.

Also, the idea that Godwin Emefiele was acting alone in the naira scarcity scamdal when he was a mere employee whose appointment as CBN governor could have been easily terminated by Buhari, is so stupid on so many levels that only a fool will still believe that empty rhetoric in December 2023.
