Job Overview:

Orbit Fabrication Works Ltd. is seeking a qualified and experienced Engineer to join our Quality Department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and control in our factory operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Control to ensure the production of high-quality products.
- Implementation and monitoring of assessment reviews and audits of quality to ensure continuous adherence to management objectives.
- Reviewing overall performance and identifying training necessities for production personnel.
- Proficiency in Quality lab inspection and testing instruments, including UTM, Impact Test, and Hardness Test.
- Coordination with the production section for preventive and corrective measures on non-conformance observed during inspection.
- Assessment of vendor performance based on criteria such as rejection percentage and quality improvement rate.
- Knowledge of all required inspection parameters and tests carried out in accordance with laid-down techniques.
- Implementation of a Quality strategy aligned with strategic operational goals, exceeding customer expectations for product quality, optimizing production quality levels, and supporting overall operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all Quality certifications such as ISO/QMS, health, and safety.
- Reduction of rejection at all levels and monitoring of the report of preventive and corrective action.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of ISO/IMS procedures and SAP/ERP systems.
- Conducting internal audits for departmental procedures.
- Building interpersonal relations with other departments.
- Implementation of the 5S concept.
- Knowledge of general safety rules and their effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience:

- BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical engineering in Manufacturing Industries, preferably in Transmission Tower line Industries.
