Job Title: Senior Engineer - Engineering

Company: Orbit Fabrication Works Ltd.

Location: Ikorodu

Key Responsibilities:

- Expertise in day-to-day Engineering Activity with reference to work orders.

- Knowledge of all engineering parameters for various types of structures.

- Proficient in preparing structural drawings, and shop drawings in AutoCAD from line diagrams.

- Ability to prepare Bills of Materials for different types of structures.

- Knowledgeable in all parameters of Proto Assembly Work.

- Expertise in preparing, checking, and submitting final drawings for customer approval.

- Competent in preparing detailed parameters of fabricated structural materials.

- Capable of carrying out client inspections and resolving customer complaints related to structure drawings.

- Ability to monitor and manage all required system setups by the organization.

- Capable of handling departmental activities, and providing training to bottom-level team members for product quality improvement.

- Effective communicator with good presentation skills.

- Familiarity with ISO/IMS procedures and SAP/ERP systems.

- Ability to handle internal audits for departmental procedures.

- Positive interpersonal skills to build relationships with other departments.

- Knowledgeable about the implementation of the 5S concept.

- Familiar with general safety rules and their effectiveness.



Qualifications & Experience:



- BE/ND/HND/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

- At least 5 to 7 years of experience

- Preferred skills include good experience in Structural Engineering Systems in Manufacturing Industries, preferably Transmission Tower Industries.
