The Supreme Court is the highest court of the land, their decision is law. In October 2022, the appeal court decided in the case of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, that the Federal Government violated the extradition act of Nigeria and other extant laws, by going to Kenya to forcibly bring back Kanu without due process, it had lost jurisdiction to try Kanu in court

The court then discharged Kanu and decreed that no court in Nigeria should try Kanu. The Federal Government then obtained a stay of execution and proceeded to challenge the decision at the Supreme court. The Supreme court will render its decision tomorrow

Should the Supreme Court decide that Nnamdi Kanu should stand trial, then the Federal government can continue, they already have Nnamdi in detention over 2 years.

However, should the Supreme court agree with the appeal court, and decide that Nnamdi Kanu has no case to answer, and that he should be released, Bola Tinubu should not entertain any thought of keeping Kanu in detention a second longer

To disobey Supreme court decision is
an invitation to disaster, it will totally discredit Tinubu locally and internationally and bring anarchy.

Tinubu must abide by the Supreme courts decision on Nnamdi Kanu tomorrow, or lose all legitimacy to govern Nigeria, which the Supreme court gave him.

Even if SC frees Kanu FG should charge him with other crimes like:

instigating violence that resulted in the burning down of Lagos,

promoting violence that killed police officers/other federal workers in Iboland.

Kanu should rot in jail. He should die there and be buried in a shallow grave.

In the same vein, if the court pronounces Kanu guilty igbos should accept it.

Trial goes on. May be its even better for Nnamdi Kanu, anyone who is out to see what Nigeria has turned into under APC will feel like locking himself up in jail anyway

You should follow your own advice

gidgiddy:
When you look at the people celebrating that Nnamdi Kanu was not released today, it is the usual crowd, non South Easterners who are desperate to protect their long failed "one Nigeria" that has never worked. The children of Lord Lugard.

These are the same people who have earmarked the 1st of October every year to celebrate the independence and freedom of Nigeria from Britain, but if you talk about gaining independence and freedom from Nigeria, they will be ready to kill you grin grin grin

As much as I was looking foward to being one of those who will receive Nnamdi Kanu today, the Supreme Court has determined he should face trial, and by doing so, have told the world that state sponsored kidnapping is ok. Nnamdi Kanu will face his trial, and he will beat tye Nigerian government as he has done in several courts. Whatever the outcome, the fact that Nigeria cannot work will not go away

However, Nnamdi Kanu remains as popular amongst his people as ever. He has solidified his position as a freedom fighter facing persecution from an unjust state that is ready to crush all voice of dissent. A political prisoner of conscience

Even Mandela had to spend many years in jail for the liberation of his people from oppression, tyranny and injustice, but later became one of the greatest African to have lived. May be that is the destiny of Nnamdi Kanu

God bless Nnamdi Kanu, born freedom fighter

Ohamadike!
