This is a personal theory. If we could play voice and videos of of past events and make sense, it's possible that Humans can actually live forever.

Maybe we are looking for "forever" in the wrong places like conventional drugs capable of longevity.
We could create Real Life: a virtual world capable or storing a Humans memories. Maybe at the point of termination or death, life is transferred and inserted into a program capable of interacting.

All these will be a precursor to having to create a human capable of retaining initially sorted and stored memories, of earlier living humans
