The Nigerian Bar Association says it has began an investigation into the viral video of a lawyer assaulting his wife in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. 

In a statement released, the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Akorede Habeeb Lawal says the lawyer has been identified as Ekere S. Ebong. He added that the President of the NBA, Yakubu Maikyau, has ordered the Uyo branch of the association to investigate the incident as a way of establishing a case of professional misconduct against the lawyer.

Hmnn... It beats me why any sane person would choose to hit an adult and still justify his actions. So, what if she was running her mouth? So, what if she had something of yours? Would you beat her if she were physically stronger?

If a woman has a foul mouth, learn to match her energy by using your mouth; not your hands, or just simply divorce her and let peace reign.

But if you think you can tame her by beating her as if she were a kid, then you are a monster. And the fact is, you do so not because she is foul mouthed, but because you are physically stronger and feel the need to flex your strength.
