NOTICE OF VACANCIES IN THE RIVERS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY UNDER SECTION 109(1)(G) AND (2) OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA 1999 (AS AMENDED) AND REQUEST FOR CONDUCT OF FRESH ELECTIONS IN THE 25 STATE CONSTITUENCIES IN THE RIVERS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

I write to formally bring to your notice vacancies in the seats of the under-listed constituencies and membership under Section 109(1)(g)of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).

The under-listed members who represented the respective Constituencies indicated against their names jointly and severally decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under whose platform they were elected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the day 11th of December 2023, As a result, by Section 109 (2) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) and by Resolution of the House at the 90th Legislative Sitting of the Rivers State House of Assembly held on
Wednesday. 13th day of December 2023, their seats were declared vacant.

Consequently, I write on behalf of the Rivers State House of Assembly to kindly request for a by-election to be conducted to fill the vacant seats in the
Rivers State House of Assembly.

Wike, Akpabio and Metawalle has so betrayed themselves. They lack integrity. They never keep their promise.

Wike promised never to support any guber candidate in Rivers State. He said it openly that whoever is willing to contest should test his might and popularity with the Rivers people.

Everyone can't be as weak as Jonathan. He'd live to regret his clueless behaviour. We Nigerians need to call him and ask why he deliberately caused this country the kind of misfortune shes in right now.

He made a great mistake by allowing the apc in. When he was supposed to seek elder's advice, he said he doesn't give a damn and by the time he realised it, it was already too late and he allowed apc to penetrate via the loophole he created and caused them to destroy Nigeria.

I've personally learned from his weakness. Fubara is the number one man in rivers and he has every right to exercise his constitutional powers. One man can't hold the entire state to ransom now. He's even asking for billions of naira monthly as if the state is his property and if Fubara failed tomorrow, Wike wouldn't be the one to take the blame.
