Should a bridge be repaired every 2 years?

Its funny how people just open their mouth and yan dust anyhow.

Some dont even know the reason it was closed, while some dont even notice not all the full section was closed. But them must open their mouth as if dem get something to say.

Maintenance is necessary, but u must shaa complain. Dem abandon d road now, same story una go still dey drop.

Sense must gum una, or u learn the hard way.

So it seems people are ignorant. So every few years, you remove the asphalt and keep the structure of the bridge and repave it. That is how you make the structure last decades. The Bridge must be closed down for the asphalt to dry due to the amount of load and trucks using the bridge. The alternative is to close it every 1-2 years to do fillings or convert to concrete which would take a longer time to do and will require less maintenance intervals. Maintenance is often our issue in Nigeria...so this is welcome news, and it will make your cars drive better with less repairs to your vehicles. Praise it and don't be ungrateful.
