Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday the military had proposed mobilising 450,000-500,000 more Ukrainians into the armed forces in what would mark a dramatic step up of Kyiv's war with Russia.
The Ukrainian leader told his end-of-year news conference it was a "highly sensitive" issue that the military and government would discuss before deciding whether to send the proposal to parliament.

War! Everyone knows when it begins,but nobody knows when and how it's going to end.This war should have ended long ago,if the foolish Ukrainian president had reasoned properly and agreed to negotiations last year on Russian terms.Rather he was feeling on top of the world and banking on infinite financial and ammunition aids from the West.
It doesn't take anything to let go of the Russophone regions of Ukraine which had earlier declared independence before the war began.
These regions have always been at separatist tensions with the central government since 2014 and even before then.
Alas! The support of the West is beginning to waver, with the Hungarian president blocking 5 billion euros aid proposed by the EU for Ukraine.He had always opposed more funding by the EU for Ukraine.
Some politicians in some EU countries are also sceptical of further assistance to Ukraine.
In the US,there has been a few times blocking of financial aid by the House and the opposition is quite strong with the US federal politicians.
The wall of support is really cracking for Ukraine.

If USA engages the Yemenis, only itself, as a supposed world power... Ukraine will capitulate by next year, and USA will lose influence in middle East. The dice is set.
