Porn addiction, also known as compulsive sexual behavior disorder, is a controversial and debated topic in the field of mental health. While it's not officially recognized as a diagnosable condition in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), some people may exhibit behaviors indicative of problematic or compulsive use of pornography. It's important to note that engaging with pornography itself is not necessarily problematic; it becomes an issue when it interferes with daily life, relationships, and overall well-being. Signs that someone may be struggling with what is colloquially referred to as "porn addiction" include:

Escalation: Needing more explicit or extreme forms of pornography over time to achieve the same level of satisfaction.

Loss of Control: Unsuccessful attempts to cut down or control the use of pornography, despite a desire to do so.

Excessive Time Spent: Spending a significant amount of time on pornographic material, to the detriment of other responsibilities, such as work, relationships, or personal well-being.

Neglect of Responsibilities: Neglecting responsibilities at work, school, or home due to the consumption of pornography.

Interference with Relationships: Pornography use interfering with intimate relationships, leading to conflicts or a decline in intimacy.

Continued Use Despite Negative Consequences: Persisting with pornography use even when it causes emotional, social, or physical problems.

Preoccupation: Spending a considerable amount of time thinking about or planning the next opportunity to consume pornography.

Withdrawal: Experiencing emotional distress, irritability, or anxiety when attempting to reduce or stop the use of pornography.

Inability to Quit: Persistent attempts to quit or cut down on pornography use, followed by relapses.

It's essential to approach the topic with sensitivity, as individual experiences and perceptions vary. If someone is concerned about their relationship with pornography or if it is causing distress in their life, seeking professional help from a mental health professional, therapist, or counselor is advisable. They can provide guidance and support tailored to the individual's specific situation.

Very educational post. Sexually depraved entities on this forum will avoid this thread like a venomous snake.
I have been down this road for years, and I experienced the amentioned symptoms.
Sometimes when I am watching a pornographic film alone,I have a strange but very strong feeling of a presence behind me. The feeling was so strong and so like a real person was standing behind me,I often turned round.
That time then, there is no genre and form of pornographic films I haven't seen from double anal , triple anal straight porn and much more.
At that time I researched and still researching now, about porn stars and discovered that majority of the males are bisexual, gays and lesbians.
Anal scenes with women are done by bisexuals, both white and black.
