Atiku is a senior member of PDP, are the posters here suggesting that PDP disintegrate or why would they not reconcile? The attitude here does not make sense.

I wonder what type of country ours is when every position is based on settling one political IOU or the other. Aren't political appointments supposed to be based on what someone can offer rather than as a compensation. Imagine Osun's former deputy governor, dance-loving Erelu Obada as Minister of state for defence. What does that one know about defence. I recognize the fact that political appointments anywhere in the world can also be a means of placating frayed interests, but when the bulk of appointments are based on this factor, one wonders what such a government can offer with such people. Save Okonjo Iweala, Omobola Johnson, Agriculture minister and very few others, I am not aware of any other position this govt filled based on capability and merit.
