Former president Olusegun Obasanjo suffered the harrowing experiences many Nigerians go through on a daily basis when the rear tyre of a Mercedes Benz SUV (Jeep) he was traveling in burst at Boluwaji area of Ibadan on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway.


The Mercedes jeep which was part of a four-car convoy was on its way outside Ibadan when the ugly incident happened on Saturday, around 11 am.

This story is fictitious, mainly because i know Nigerians, if OBJ was there they will be hailling him just to get couple bucks from him. the journalist said they were pouring venom of words, common, that is so not true, Nigerians will talk behind your back and will not confront you. that i know.

I remember the day OBJ came to UNIBEN. I think it was the year 2000. Come and see the way UNIBEN students were celebrating the man. To the extent that he abandoned his orderlies and went in the midst of the multitude of students and people were scrambling to touch him like Michael Jackson.

I had to wonder whether it was these same UNIBEN students that had been complaining about OBJ. Note that about 80% of UNIBEN students are from the South-South, and note also that OBJ did not spray anybody money. They were just elated to see their so-called oppressor.
