If you think the free train ride of the federal government is a joke, you must be playing. I tried to apply for it last week but there was no space until my fried told me how and when to apply.

Below are the steps you should take to enjoy it

Sign up on https://nrc.gsds.ng/login .

Start checking starting from 12:00 am and keep trying until it will open and you will be successful.

I started trying it today from 12: 00 am for 30th December trip to Ibadan (From Lagos).

At about 1:40 am my seat was ready (Free Ride)

Attached is my Ticket. Don't mind my bad manners for the shaded areas (Those are private info area) and do not look at the amount it is free. When I checked again around 5: 00 am, it is fully booked.

The greatest advantage of the free ride is that it will make more people to be familiar with train operations and increase their customer base in the future.
