Eight students and three teachers of ASCL Staff Comprehensive Secondary School, Ajaokuta, Kogi State were kidnapped yesterday. This unfortunate incident happened around 3 pm yesterday along Okene-Itobe road as the students were returning from a quiz competition in Okene. The bandits thereafter set the forest on fire to make it nearly impossible for the security officers to trail them. They have since called requesting for ₦20,000,000 per-head ransom. Urgent intervention of the state government is required. |
