Qs Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, popular as MOK, is a renowned philanthropist and the founder of MOK Foundation, a non-governmental organization that promotes education, empowerment, and community development in Offa and its environs. MOK, who is a quantity surveyor by profession, has been actively involved in various humanitarian and social projects that have touched the lives of many people, especially the less privileged, the disabled, and the youth.

MOK Foundation, which was established in 2022, has been supporting students with scholarships, grants, and mentorship programmes, as well as providing free health care services, business opportunities, and skill acquisition training to the people of Offa and beyond. The foundation has also been sponsoring and organizing various cultural and sporting events, such as the OSU Summer School, the Olalomi Royal Volleyball Club Academy, and the Ijakadi Offa Festival.

The Ijakadi Offa Festival is an annual celebration that showcases the traditional heritage and cultural potential of the people of Offa, a town in Kwara State, Nigeria. The festival, which means “wrestling” in Yoruba language, is a symbol of unity, equity, justice, and wisdom among the people of Offa. The festival features various activities, such as press conferences, prayers, project commissioning, awards presentation, church services, traditional dances, parades, wrestling bouts, horse racing, and yam cutting.

MOK Foundation joined array of supporters of the 2023 Ijakadi Offa Festival, which was revived in 2012 by the Oloffa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Muhammed-Gbadamosi Okikiola, Esuwoye II, Ajagungbade I.

MOK and his foundation’s members have been gracing the festival with their presence and contributions.

MOK Foundation’s involvement in the Ijakadi Offa Festival is part of its vision to preserve and promote the cultural values and identity of the people of Offa, as well as to foster peace and harmony among the people. The foundation believes that culture is a vital tool for social cohesion and development, and that the Ijakadi Offa Festival is a platform to showcase the rich and diverse culture of Offa to the world.
