They realized that Duoye Diri was performing well and to teach Timipre Silver a lesson for not doing what he ought to have done during his first tenure, APC decided to project Timipre Silver against Lyon, so as to get back some money meant for the state but was not utilized.
David Lyon will be the Guber candidate and winner come next Bayelsa election.
