Also check if it is calibrated in miles or km

He didn't use the full tank.. Look at the 2nd picture again


Even 40 miles isn't supposed to move his fuel guage from the full position, much less 9.6 miles..

I am going to scan the car today to ascertain the issues. Poor mpg is my greatest fear

how did you measure the full tank? did you filled to the brim? Or the guage. You have only covered 9 miles. It depends too on location like hold up. Go and fill the tank and check how many litre will complete it.

10 miles should be around 2 litres. But it looks like it has used almost 8 litres from that guage.

Go scan the car first

Confirmed, it was tested using a meter
I saw it live

Please Is acura tsx 2007 a good car and is the fuel consumption good for this nigeria period

Had the 02 sensor changed today
Another issue I'm having now is car jerks while I'm driving
I had the TP sensor changed at a point when I noticed same thing earlier on.

Since the TP sensor was changed the jerking has steadily increased. Please what could be the issue and is it possible it was well set or calibrated.

Or I need to look out for another issue

If you have scanned and the only code is p0420 just manage it that way.

Anyone telling op to scan vehicle isn't helping him.. No manner of 02 or MAF sensor fault will drain a full tank like that in 9 miles... There is a massive fuel leak somewhere.

Read what he wrote, he said he filled the car up then reset the meter.

Slight improvement noticed with my mpg after replacement of 02 sensor.
Jerking has also stopped after it was discovered that my sump got pulled in and was beaten out.

Gear switch changed erased d light blink.

Car is on test drive for now 😔

I know if I return my fan to factory setting I should be getting a greater mpg.
My fear is my engine.
It's old already with a very high mileage.

You have done well by paying attention to the car.
Don't return fan to factory for now to avoid overheating. Monitor the car and get used to it before doing the factory thing
